About me

About me

I was named Vishuk, a sanskrit word which translates to fearless, the name was suggested by an indian Yogi, from a spiritual movement: ānanda mārga "The Path of Bliss."Through gathering to sing and dance to Mantras with my parents,

I discovered how singing can not only open the soul, but that it also connects us all…My parents wanted to find an alternative to the school system, so we left Germany when I was 8 years old, to travel around the world in a Camper-van…

Most of my childhood was spent in Portugal, living freely, being home schooled.

At 18 I decided to get more serious and I had my first singing lesson at the Academia de Música de Lagos – Portugal, where I went on to study opera techniques for 2 years. After I’ve decided to move to Berlin, where I finished school. I never lost the connection to the music along the way. I carried on broadening my horizons with vocal techniques for 5 more years at Musikschule Paul Hindemith Neukölln, with several different teachers such as Ricarda Ulm and Juliane Gabriel…

To break out of my classical background, I decided to go to more Jam sessions. This is where I first learned to sing and improvise with big bands, like the Urban Base Jam, that took place in Greenhouse, Panke, and at the XJAZZ Festival in Private Club and The Swag Jam in Badehaus.

Since 2016 I’ve been part of the Urban Base community who used to be based in Greenhouse. Through this I've met musicians from all kinds of directions, and became deeply inspired to express myself through improvisation.

From then on my performances began to take on a more free-flowing vibe….also called Freestyle…This new style corresponded to developments in my philosophy, cos I had the feeling that life is a constant change,

feelings change, opinions change, and everything is always a reflection of the moment…I feel the moments where, you express what's in your heart without thinking about whether it's good or bad,

That’s where the magic happens… cos it's real.

Since 2018 - 2023

I been a regular part of the Swag Jam at Badehaus,
where most of the shows were live recorded, you can check out most of the recordings on my Soundcloud page. We all became like a big family and I am very happy to work with so many amazing musicians.

Also I been regular part of - Cassette Head Sessions - that takes part in Filmkunstbar - every Wednesday.

As well as The Session Berlin, that is every first Thursday of the Month in The Reed.

Background as a Producer 2017 - 2023

I started producing in 2017, back then I use to work with Maschine Mk2 from Native Instruments. Throughout that time, beat making has become, part of my daily tasks, including using different DAW’s as Ableton, Logic, Maschine Software, I made it a challenge to Remix Acapella’s and create own beats around them.As well as reproduction has taught me a lot about how to work better as a Producer.

In 2019, as the Pandemic started, I decided to produce my own playback’s for my world tour plans, as an Independent Artist.
Through that time I also Joined Timbaland’s Beatclub on Twitch, I had the chance to show him some of my Beats and get professional

opinion by him and his collage, that motivated me a lot to keep going and keep improving and believing in myself.

In April 2022 Timbaland lounged the project - BeatClub members and I joined. Since then I been trying to produce more music for commercial use.
Mainly focused on Hip Hop, Trap, R&B, productions. Today I work with Maschine MK3 - to produce my Beats and finish the projects in Ableton Live.
Of course working with Samples, can make the work as a producer easier, but I try to keep my productions as organic as possible.
Record, Paino, Chords, real drums, myself, make a good fusion between the acoustic elements and electronic synths.
